The Press Ganey Success Story Awards 2017

If your organisation uses Press Ganey data analysis tools or consulting services and has achieved performance excellence by improving the experience of healthcare consumers or engaging employees and doctors, we invite you to share your story. Our annual Success Story Awards provide an excellent opportunity to share your experiences and be recognised for the outstanding programs you have implemented. We are looking for healthcare providers that have developed a particularly innovative approach, achieved strong results or had broad organisational impact.

Based on recent client feedback, we have extended the deadline for entries for the 2017 Success Story Award.
The final date for submissions is now:

27th February 2017    Submissions are due no later than 5pm (AEST)

Submissions received by this date will be entered into our regional competition (not eligible for International competition).

SUBMISSIONS FOR THE 2017 SUCCESS STORY AWARDS ARE NOW CLOSED, MANY THANKS TO THOSE ORGANISATIONS THAT HAVE SUBMITTED THEIR SUCCESS STORIES TO US.

The winner of this year's Success Story will receive:

  • Complimentary return airfare to Orlando, Florida for one representative to attend the Press Ganey US National Client Conference 1st to 3rd November 2017 including one conference registration and accommodation in Orlando, Florida.
  • Recognition in Press Ganey's monthly e-newsletter, the PG Snapshot, distributed to more than 2,000 healthcare quality professionals throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
  • Local, regional and national public relations opportunities.
  • National recognition as an industry leader and increased networking prospects.

 

GUIDELINES

Proposals submitted for the Success Story Award must demonstrate measurable improvement, indicating whether results were sustained over time and/or illustrating how the effects were felt across the organisation. The specific metrics used and the improvement achieved must be included in the proposal. A variety of performance measures should be included in your submission such as:

  • Patient, resident or client experience data from Press Ganey surveys
  • Caregiver engagement data from Press Ganey employee and doctor surveys
  • Key stakeholder feedback from Press Ganey Point of Care solution
  • Other performance indicators to demonstrate a return on investment such as clinical, human resource and financial indicators (e.g. reduced falls, reduced infection rates, reduced sick leave, reduced agency staff usage, reduced staff turnover, reduced length of stay, reduced operating expenses).

SELECTION CRITERIA

All submissions will be evaluated on the following criteria:

  • Originality of material;
  • Relevance and importance of the topic;
  • Practical application of materials
  • Sustainability of results over time;
  • Organisation-wide impact; and
  • Measurable improvement.

IMPORTANT DATES

  • 27th February 2017 Submissions are due no later than 5pm (AEST)
  • 29th May 2017 Success Story Award winner and finalists will be notified by email

 

APPLICATION PROCESS

  1. The application process is online.
    Please Note: Once you have started entering information, you must complete the entire application. You will not be able to save the form and return to it later. We suggest you download a copy of the Online Application Form in Word format and review prior to submitting your online application. Please ensure you have the required information at hand and observe the character limits for each text box as indicated. We recommend you type your answers into the Word document before you begin the process, then copy and paste your answers into the online form.
  2. Complete and submit the Online Application Form.

  3. Once submitted, you will receive an onscreen message confirming that your submission has been received.
